Description:

Responsibilities:
? Will assist in the development and implementation of the classroom environment in the facilitation of the cognitive, social-emotional, physical, language and communication development of the children within the program.

? Will provide assistance as a member of the teaching team in the planning, organization, implementation, and delivery of program services based on the mission and philosophy of the center.

? Will assist in the development of a classroom plan for curriculum, individual child planning, and family communication.

? Will direct the development and implementation of the classroom environment, curriculum, and family communication in the absence of the Master Teacher.

? Will work as a member of an interdisciplinary team.

? Facilitate classroom and program development in direct coordination with the Master teacher, Associate I teacher, Department Chair, and Directors.

? Assist in the facilitation of curriculum implementation Work as a member of an interdisciplinary team. Ensure the health and safety of each child in the program.

? Assist with center guidelines a method for child observations, anecdotal records, and portfolio development.

? Participate in the development of a programmatic training model in curriculum, inclusive methodology, and developmental best practice.

Qualifications:
Associates degree in Early Childhood Education, or related field and a minimum of 1-3 years experience within the field of early childhood education OR a Bachelors degree in an outside field and 3 or more years experience in a NAEYC accredited early childhood group setting. Willingness to work with children in an inclusive setting. Must be able to push, pull, or lift 50 pounds.
