Description:

Under the supervision and guidance of the Laboratory Supervisor, provides supervision, training and competency assessment to Point of Care Testing staff and other staff performing Laboratory Waived testing, Phlebotomy and Limit Phlebotomy.

Qualifications:

BS Medical Technology or related field
Training and licensure as Clinical Laboratory Scientist by the state of California.
Valid California Drivers License, reliable transportation and appropriate vehicle insurance required, some travel necessary.
Current CPR certification required.
Bilingual in Spanish/English required.
At least three years experience in laboratory services required, preferably in health care industry or out-patient medical clinics.
Demonstrated experience with curriculum and competency based assessment development.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Computer literacy required.
