Description:

Under the supervision of the Family Planning Coordinator, the Health Educator/Outreach Worker will provide comprehensive family planning education and counseling to patients in the clinic and individuals in the community. Will work at various clinic sites providing group & one-on-one Family Planning Education services in coordination with medical providers. Will be responsible for outreach to targeted populations, presentations at collaborating agencies, attending health fairs and creating community connections.

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in health education, health science, or related field, or equivalent experience required.
Must possess valid California driver's license and appropriate auto insurance as required by law may be required.
Bilingual in Spanish/English required.
Two years experience in community education setting required.
