Little Sprouts is seeking fulltime certified infant teachers to join our teaching teams in Andover and Lawrence.

Little Sprouts is looking for experienced, fun loving educators that are big on making joy and laughter part of the lesson plan.

Educational Requirements:
Must be Teacher certified by the Department of Early Education and Care
Applicant should either have an Associates Degree or a degree in a related field.

Physical Requirements:
Be able to stand on your feet for up to 90% of the day
Capable of lifting up to 30 pounds
Sit on the floor and scrunch down to meet any child’s needs
Perform all activities with the children, including running, jumping etc.

Summary of Position:
Plan daily lessons a week in advance that bring to life Little Sprouts’ curriculum and
are individualized for every student in your classroom
Adhere to all EEC regulations
Demonstrate NAEYC standards within the classroom and school
Display excellent verbal and written communication skills
Encourage problem solving and practice positive behavior guidance
Promote empathy in children through warm hugs, smiles, and appropriate touches
Modulate tone of voice and manner at all times and take steps to avoid inappropriate behavior Support awareness of “fair” and “unfair”
Make the anti-bias and anti-favoritism perspectives evident throughout the classroom
Complete all paperwork in a timely fashion
Establish strong parent and family relationships
Must be able to multi-task
Candidate must be flexible and be able to respond to change as needed
Exhibit excellent organizational skills
Uphold the vision and philosophy of Little Sprouts
